Goodness, I didn't even know who these guys were back then, but Shinichi Watanabe and another Japanese gentleman (I'm not sure who) approached me at Acen 2012 and asked for pictures with my costume! Imagine my shock when I got home and found out I met a major anime director!! ;O;

I wish I would've known then!! I would've wanted to shake his hand and maybe ask for an autograph, but I'm tickled pink that he admired my costume! This was definitely a major costuming highlight for me!
